Should Christians celebrate Christmas?

You can always find plenty of sites talking about how Christians shouldn't celebrate Christmas because it has pagan origins. I've been interested in this debate for many years now, and always enjoy reading the different viewpoints.

Here is a blog I skimmed through this evening, and found a lot of good information.

Is Christmas Christian?

I'm not really interested in having a debate about it here on my blog, though I welcome comments. :)

aside from the pagan origind, isn't the consumerism involved in Christmas problematic for you?

Thanks for your comment!
Yes, I have a big problem with the rampant consumerism nowdays. However, this was not a part of Christmas until the last several years. Christmas does not equal "10,000 presents" to most Bible-believing Christians. Christmas means focusing on the birth of Christ and what He did for us.

Thanks again!
